Andrew Abrahams set up Isle of Colonsay Oysters in the early 80’s, as one of the first commercial oyster farms on the west coast of Scotland. He grew the business and helped set up many other farms in the area during the 80’s and 90’s.

Carrying on the business through 2000’s and 2010’s in 2024 he started to pass on the reigns to his son in law, Lars Mack who had moved to Colonsay with Sandy and their young son Finn.
